If ever you’ve dipped a toe into the waters of the koi pond (Birdbath? Rain barrel? Antique clawfoot tub?) that is garden design, odds are you know the term “focal point.” As designers, we’re apt to direct your eye here or there, pointing you to what we think is interesting, or away from what we think isn’t. Think of us as your flight attendants in the garden!
